Synthese is a centre for assessment and treatment in Geleen. It offers speech therapy, occupational therapy, psychology, dyslexia assessments and study support for primary and secondary education.

Occupational therapy

For children

Occupational therapy for children focuses on functioning as independently as possible in daily activities. Treatment may involve practising practical skills and encouraging motor and sensory development.

Practical information

Occupational therapy can take place at the practice, at home, at school, at a playgroup or at a day care centre. A referral from a (family) doctor is required for occupational therapy to be covered by health insurance.
