About GEEL Remedial Teaching & Coaching

GEEL Remedial Teaching & Coaching is a remedial teaching practice based at home in Geldrop. The practice offers individual educational support to pupils in mainstream and special primary education, and courses in reading comprehension and study skills.

Remedial teaching

Individual support is intended for learning difficulties and is tailored to the child’s learning style. Attention is given to enjoyment, structure and self-confidence.

How it works

After an introductory meeting, diagnostic assessment is carried out if needed and an action plan is drawn up. Support takes place weekly in 60-minute sessions, with assignments to do at home and evaluations with parents.

Courses

The Alle Teksten de Baas course focuses on reading comprehension. The practice also offers study skills courses for secondary education.

Caroline Ketelaars has 20 years of experience in primary education and provides support according to the principles of Mediërend Leren (mediated learning). She is a registered member of the LBRT.
