About Gaia Survival Hondengedrag Begrijpen

Gaia Survival Hondengedrag Begrijpen offers dog behaviour support and puppy coaching. The support takes place in the dog’s living environment.

Dog behaviour support

Christianne Karreman works according to the Connectiemethode (Connection Method), a friendly and non-violent way of interacting with dogs. She guides families towards a natural connection with their dog.

Puppy coaching

After an initial introduction, a tailored programme is mapped out. This can start with finding a suitable puppy and continue after adoption.

• Choosing a breed and puppy
• Advice when visiting the breeder
• Preparing the home and family for the puppy’s arrival
• Getting used to the new environment and meeting people and pets
• Safety for people and animals
• The puppy’s communication
• Collar, harness and lead
• Being outdoors and walking on a lead
• Playing with children and other animals
• Being alone
• Car travel and going on holiday
• Basic commands: sit, down, stay and come here

Nutrition and care

As a Pet Health Coach, Christianne advises on nutrition and care at every stage of life, from puppy to older dog. She also provides support when buying a puppy or rehomed dog.
