About Hondenschool Pup & Zo

Hondenschool Pup & Zo is a dog training school in Etten-Leur. The lessons focus on a stable foundation, understanding dog behaviour and cooperation between participant and dog.

Approach

The training is based on a positive approach to both participant and dog. Exercises help participants handle everyday situations with their dog.

Training

The courses follow on from one another. For dogs starting at a later age, a private lesson is possible first.

• Puppy course focusing on socialisation and basic exercises
• Junior training focusing on exercises, the relationship between owner and dog, and obstacles
• Basic training introducing obstacles
• Combination training with obedience exercises and agility equipment
• Private lesson for dogs joining at a later stage

Location

Lessons take place at Stal ’t Sander in a large, covered facility. There is parking and a canteen with coffee and tea available for a fee.

About the owner

Nadja van der Aa completed the kynologisch instructeur (Dutch dog training instructor) course at Van Hall Instituut. Pup & Zo started in Etten-Leur in January 2011.

Practical information

Each course consists of 10 lessons and costs €150. The course fee is paid in cash or by bank transfer before or at the start of the first lesson; course fees are non-refundable.

• Cancellations can be made by phone or email, 24 hours before the course starts.
• Missed lessons cannot be made up.
• Observers are welcome, provided they do not disrupt the lesson.
