Trajectum provides specialist treatment and support for people with a mild intellectual disability and behaviour that is difficult to understand and poses risks. The organisation has locations in the north and east of the Netherlands and offers outpatient and residential care.

Care services

Care is provided on an outpatient or residential basis and is divided into different forms.

Specialist services for deaf clients

Trajectum treats deaf and hard-of-hearing clients with an intellectual disability and/or a developmental delay associated with their deafness. There are treatment units and day activities for them; communication takes place in Nederlandse Gebarentaal (Dutch Sign Language) and through Totale Communicatie (Total Communication).

Target group and treatment

Trajectum provides care for people with a mild intellectual disability and behaviour that is difficult to understand and poses risks, with or without a forensic setting. Some clients have a forensic background.
