Psychomotor therapy

This experience-based therapy alternates talking with activities and movement. Clients explore feelings, body signals and behaviour patterns to bring about change, process experiences or reach acceptance.

How it works

Eveline takes a person-centred approach and combines professional knowledge with her experience. At the start, she discusses the support needs and agrees on goals, frequency and any conditions.

Training and experience

Eveline has more than 30 years of experience in GGZ (Dutch mental healthcare) institutions and has completed training in psychomotor therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and lifestyle coaching.

• Experience with personality disorders, eating disorders, trauma and early childhood attachment difficulties
• Experience with mindfulness training, breathing and relaxation therapy

Practical information

A treatment session lasts 60 minutes. There is no charge for the introductory conversation. Appointments must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance.

• Psychomotor therapy usually once every 1 à 2 weeks
• Lifestyle coaching may take place once every 4 weeks after a few sessions
