Treatments

The physician makes a diagnosis using a medical history and pulse and tongue diagnosis. Treatment consists of acupuncture needles; moxa or retained needles are used where needed.

• Musculoskeletal complaints, including shoulder complaints, frozen shoulder, lower back pain, neck complaints, fibromyalgia and rheumatic complaints
• Sleep problems, worrying and difficulty falling asleep
• Emotional complaints and concentration problems
• Allergies, hay fever and food allergies
• Pregnancy-related questions, including support with becoming pregnant and with breech presentation
• Support during hospital cancer treatment and for side effects or scar pain

Dietary advice

If desired, the physician provides dietary advice based on Chinese medicine.

Practical information

An intake with the first treatment takes about an hour. Follow-up treatments take 45 to 60 minutes; the next appointment is arranged together.
