Approach

The first appointment starts with a discussion based on a completed intake form, followed by a physical examination and treatment if possible. At follow-up appointments, Lorena Zuniga discusses how the complaints have developed, repeats the examination and adjusts the treatment if needed.

• Osteopathic manual techniques, including mobilisations, muscle energy techniques, HVLA thrusts and fascial techniques
• Exercises if needed

Follow-up and course of treatment

Complex, multiple, recurring or persistent complaints lasting longer than three months may require several consultations and regular practice. If there is insufficient improvement after three to four consultations, other therapy or treatment options are discussed.

About Lorena Zuniga

Lorena Zuniga grew up and studied in France and worked as a lawyer after studying law. After moving to the Netherlands in 2005, she decided to become an osteopath; she studied for six years at College Sutherland in Amsterdam and graduated in 2019.

Practical information

The practice offers consultations in Dutch, English and French. For complaints requiring further medical assessment, Lorena Zuniga advises contacting the GP or specialist, or considering another form of therapy.
