About Katten Trimsalon Shirley
Katten Trimsalon Shirley is a cat grooming salon in Den Haag. Shirley Moen specializes in coat-friendly grooming and grooms cats without sedation.
Treatments
The treatment is tailored to factors including the breed, coat type and owner's wishes. The salon also offers shedding treatments and advice on the coat care needed.
- Grooming: trimming, clipping, hand-stripping, thinning, de-shedding, washing and combing
- Shedding treatment: combing out or washing, depending on the coat
- Full clip, leaving the head, paws and tail
- Clip the underside or top and comb out the rest if the coat is not matted
- Comb out and remove small mats from a normal coat
- Bathing and blow-drying
- Sanitary trim
- Clip nails or remove a tick, only as part of a grooming treatment
Working method
All cat breeds are welcome and are treated without sedation. The owner can stay during the treatment; Shirley works alone when washing because of the stress it can cause the cat.
- Matted coats are always clipped
- The treatment may be stopped in cases of extreme fear or aggression
About Shirley
Shirley Moen has been certified since 2009. She works alone in the salon, which keeps things calm.
