Acupuncture

Treatment aims to restore or relieve complaints by supporting the balance in the body. At the first consultation, the practitioner discusses health, lifestyle and emotions, among other things, and examines the tongue and pulse.

• Acupuncture for allergies, pain and joint complaints, menstrual complaints, headaches, skin problems, respiratory complaints, sleep problems and digestive complaints, among other things
• Support during chemotherapy and for chronic illnesses and anatomical abnormalities

How it works

An initial consultation lasts an hour and a half and a follow-up consultation about an hour. In most treatments, around ten needles remain in place for twenty minutes; clothing can usually stay on.

Nutritional advice

Nutritional advice can be given based on the diagnosis and current eating patterns.

Practical information

Appointments can be made by telephone. Payment can be made in cash or by pin (Dutch debit card); after each consultation, an invoice is sent by email, which can be submitted to the health insurer.
