Prakt. Psychother. Leemreijze is an independent solo psychotherapy practice in Bergen op Zoom. The practice provides care through specialist mental health care (specialistische GGZ) and basic mental health care (basis-GGZ).

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is a specialised form of psychological care for mental disorders and problems. Treatments are brief when possible and longer-term when needed, including for longstanding and more complex problems.

Approach

After registration, there is a phone call and an introductory or intake meeting. The intake maps out symptoms, support needs and treatment options; the practice then discusses a proposed treatment plan and regularly reviews progress.

About the therapist

Miriam Leemreijze completed training in health psychology and clinical psychology, then specialised further in psychotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy and schema therapy. She is BIG-registered (Dutch healthcare register) as a GZ psychologist and psychotherapist.
