OKE Psychologie provides psychological support around pregnancy, the birth of a child and the first years afterwards. The practice is for (expectant) parents and their partner.

The support is for people who are pregnant or have recently given birth and are experiencing difficulties related to the birth or their child.

Treatments

Treatment is tailored to the reason for seeking help. The practice offers both reimbursed and non-reimbursed forms of treatment.

• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
• EMDR for adults and children from 0 years old
• Cognitive behavioural therapy
• ‘Moed(er)Zacht’ group treatment
• Parent-child observation
• OKI-B (Ouder-Kind Interactie Bewegingsspel (Parent-Child Interaction Movement Game))

How it works

After registration, the practice calls to discuss the reason for seeking help and expectations. If the practice can provide suitable help, an intake meeting follows; treatment usually takes about eight to ten consultations.

Reimbursement and cancellations

A referral letter from the GP is required for reimbursement. Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance; late cancellations and missed appointments are charged.
