About Praktijk Je kunt het!

Praktijk Je kunt het! offers psychomotor child and parent coaching, lectures, workshops and courses. The practice works on Wednesdays and Thursdays in a room at Fysio Benthuizen.

Child and parent coaching

The practice looks at the whole child and the system in which the child lives, such as family and classroom. Support focuses on psychomotor skills, school readiness, play and movement.

Approach

After an intake and screening, the coach draws up a plan and discusses it with the parents. Sessions include creative and therapeutic play and movement activities, with exercises to do at home for about 15 minutes each day.

The programme

Each programme is tailored to the child, who needs an average of 8 à 10 sessions. A session lasts 45 minutes with the child, and a parent is present for the final 15 minutes.

Lectures and training

The practice gives lectures, workshops and courses to share knowledge and inspiration with people working in and around primary education.
