Yvonne Driessen has a speech therapy and breathing therapy practice in Arnhem. The practice treats adults with breathing and voice problems, including hyperventilation and throat complaints.

Complaints and treatments

Treatments are tailored to the complaints and personal preferences. Treatment takes place following a referral from a GP or specialist.

• Breathing problems, such as asthma, COPD, hyperventilation and related tension complaints
• Throat complaints, including a lump in the throat or globus, treated with manual laryngeal facilitation

About Yvonne Driessen

Yvonne has worked as a speech therapist since 1995, specialising in hyperventilation and stuttering. She has further developed her skills in breathing therapy, haptotherapy (a Dutch therapy based on touch and body awareness) and psychosomatic therapy.

Practical information

The practice is located in Het Matserhuis. The building has a lift, free parking and disabled parking spaces; the practice room is on the third floor.

• If you cannot attend, cancel at least 24 hours in advance; otherwise the reserved time will be charged

Reimbursement and closure

According to the practice, speech therapy is covered by basic health insurance; the excess applies first. The practice will close on 1 May 2026. A new practice that is independent of health insurers will open in 2027.
