Lyceo Arnhem - Thomas a Kempislaan

About Lyceo Arnhem - Thomas a Kempislaan

Lyceo provides homework support in Arnhem. Students work in a quiet learning environment on their homework, planning and study skills.

Homework support

A few afternoons a week, students work on planning and homework with guidance. Supervisors help them organise, review and reflect, check written assignments and quiz them on study material.

• Planning and doing homework
• Developing study skills
• Extra attention for subjects students find more difficult

How it works

A personal action plan is prepared for each student. The Lyceo Learning to Learn method was developed in collaboration with Tilburg University; progress is tracked through a student monitoring system.

• Lyceo Test for study skills and motivation
• Planner for goals, weekly planning and progress
• Online tools through the Lyceo app and website

Who it is for

The support is intended for secondary school students who need structure, support or extra motivation.

• Vmbo students (pre-vocational secondary education)
• Havo students (senior general secondary education)
• Vwo students (pre-university education)
