Eefje Coacht is a practice in Arnhem for children, young people and parents. The practice offers short-term, future-focused coaching when things are not going smoothly.

Coaching for children

Children aged 7 and over and their parents or carers can receive support with emotions, behaviour and social situations. During the programme, children develop skills to deal with a problem in future.

Coaching for young people

Parent coaching

Parents can learn to better understand and respond to their child's behaviour. Attention is also given to their own patterns and setting clear boundaries.

Approach

After making contact, there is a free introductory meeting and an intake with the parents or carers. The child then works on a new skill using various methods; six sessions are needed on average. The programme concludes with a final evaluation.
