Psypraktijk Amsterdam offers mental health care (GGZ, Dutch mental health care) to adults at practices in Amsterdam. Arianne van Reedt Dortland works in basic and specialist GGZ; Wanda Klein works in basic GGZ.

Services offered

The practice offers short-term and longer-term GGZ. A therapy group will also start in January 2027, combining talk therapy with boxing, movement and elements of yin yoga.

Approach

After registration, there is a brief telephone screening. If the concern is a good fit, the practitioner and client schedule an intake and then set treatment goals and a treatment plan together.

Therapy group

The group has ten weekly sessions of an hour and a half at the Nieuwe Yogaschool. No experience with boxing, yoga or sports is needed; the group is limited to six to eight participants.

Practical information

Therapy is available in Dutch or English, and online therapy and E-health are possible. GGZ costs are reimbursed in full or in part depending on the diagnosis, insurance and contract.
