About NPI

NPI is a specialist centre in Amsterdam, Amersfoort and Utrecht for treating people with personality problems. It offers treatment for adults and young people, partly online and in English.

Treatments offered

After an intake, the client and practitioner decide together which treatment is suitable. NPI follows the guideline ‘group, unless’ and offers various care pathways and treatment methods.

Youth and online care

NPI Jeugd mainly focuses on young people aged 16 to 23 inclusive. Schema therapy is available online, individually or in a short-term group, in Dutch or English.

How it works

Treatment starts with an intake. The client is then placed on the waiting list for a care pathway and, when a place becomes available, has an introductory meeting with a practitioner.

Registration

Registration is through a GP or practitioner who can refer someone to NPI. After registration, NPI calls to arrange an intake appointment.
