About Mandy's Pony Plezier

Mandy’s Ponyplezier is a pony riding school in Amsterdam Sloten. The school organises pony activities for children, including riding lessons, pony walks, parties, camps and support with ponies.

Pony activities

Children aged 6 and over have riding lessons on Shetland ponies. Lessons continue in bad weather, indoors or outdoors, or in and around the stable.

• Pony camps during school holidays, with games, treasure hunts and fashion shows

Riding lessons

Riding lessons are in small groups of up to six children and last an hour. As well as riding, children learn to sense their pony, steer, put on and remove the saddle, groom and sometimes feed it.

• A ten-lesson card is available afterwards

Support with ponies

Mandy’s Ponypraat offers tailored support for children with a support need. Through play, children work on areas including self-confidence, managing emotions, resilience and social skills.

• Horseboy
• Day activities for children with a PGB (personal budget) who temporarily or permanently do not attend school

Practical information

For riding lessons, an own CE- or e.n.-approved helmet, riding breeches and riding boots or chaps are compulsory from the start of a ten-ride card. The maximum weight is 45 kg and the maximum height is 1,45 m.

• For trial lessons, one missed lesson can be carried over
• Missed lessons on the ten-ride card cannot be made up
• Payment by bank transfer or cash; invoice by email
