About Kindertand-Zuid
Kindertand-Zuid is a referral practice for paediatric dentistry with two locations in Amsterdam. Children are treated there after referral by their regular dentist and then referred back.
Practice
The practice has locations on Hygiëastraat and Milletstraat. A referral letter is required before treatment can begin.
- Hygiëastraat 2
- Milletstraat 28hs
How it works
The first consultation is usually just a conversation. The paediatric dentist discusses what the child has experienced and proposes a treatment based on the conversation, the child's behaviour and the condition of their teeth.

Follow-up care
During follow-up care, parents learn how to prevent tooth decay, and the child learns to sit calmly in the dentist's chair. Once the teeth are stable, the child is usually referred back to their own dentist.
