Expertisecentrum Uniek is a multidisciplinary treatment practice for children and young people, with a location in Amsterdam among others. The centre offers treatment and support relating to movement, communication, behaviour, learning and development.

Treatment and support

The team discusses the request for help from different areas of expertise and draws up a treatment plan for each child. Uniek helps parents find a suitable first step.

Speech therapy

Speech therapy is for children with communication problems, including difficulties with language, voice, eating and drinking, or speech clarity. A course of treatment includes identification, an intake, assessment, treatment and evaluation; treatment lasts 25 minutes and is play-based.
