About Haylife

Haylife is a basic mental health care (GGZ, Dutch mental healthcare) practice in Amsterdam. The practice offers short-term psychological help to adults, children and their parents.

Treatments

Haylife makes diagnoses and offers treatments tailored to the complaints. Treatment aims to resolve psychological complaints and the problems that arise from them, or make them manageable.

Reasons for seeking help

Adults can register with a referral letter from their GP. Children and young people can be referred for their own complaints, family problems or parenting problems.

• Low mood and depression
• Anxiety and panic attacks
• Stress, overstrain and burnout
• Relationship and family problems
• Grief and coping with loss
• Trauma or a shocking event
• Problems at school, such as concentration difficulties, learning difficulties or bullying
• Behavioural and social problems
• Mild developmental disorders (ADHD, ADD, PDD-NOS)
• Insecurity and fear of failure
• Parenting problems

Reimbursement

For insured people over 18, a limited number of sessions may be reimbursed from the basic insurance package. A referral letter from the GP is required; for children under 18, the client pays themselves.

Practical information

The practice is open from Tuesday to Thursday. Telephone consultation hours are on working days.
