Maartje Hetsen offers tutoring and fear of failure reduction in a practice room at her home in Amstelveen. She supports children with maths and behaviour or fear of failure, and provides fear of failure training for young people from around age 10.

Tutoring and guidance

Children aged 6 and over can receive individual extra help with maths. Guidance is also available for behaviour and fear of failure, with consultation with the teacher and parents where needed.

Fear of failure training

The training for young people uses cognitive behavioural therapy and practical skills such as breathing and relaxation exercises. The training consists of six 45-minute sessions.

About the instructor

Maartje Hetsen has a Pabo (Dutch primary teacher training) diploma and worked as a teacher at Montessori schools. She lists training and diplomas in remedial teaching, maths difficulties, fear of failure guidance and mindfulness for children.

Practical information

Guidance takes place in the practice room at her home in Amstelveen. Before guidance starts, she offers a free introductory or intake meeting.
