Acupuncture is used for acute and chronic pain and other complaints. Shiatsu therapy is a Japanese manual therapy, also known as pressure point massage or acupressure.

• Menopause symptoms
• Bowel and digestive complaints
• Hay fever

• Fatigue
• Stress
• Burnout complaints
• Anxiety complaints

Approach

During the intake, the complaints are discussed, the tongue is examined and the pulse is felt. Follow-up treatments begin with a brief evaluation. Shiatsu is performed over the clothes while the client lies on a futon. If needed, shiatsu can be combined with acupuncture.

Reimbursement and cancellation

Acupuncture and shiatsu treatments are reimbursed in full or in part by a large number of health insurers. Chinese herbs are not reimbursed. If cancelled in time, no charge is made.
