Psychologen Almere Stad (PAS) is an organization providing psychological care within the Generalist Basic Mental Health Care (Dutch Generalistische Basis GGZ) in Almere. Independent GZ psychologists (Dutch healthcare register psychologists) work together there, each with their own practice and specialism.

Psychological care

PAS treats mild to moderately severe psychological complaints. For severe, long-term or acute problems, the organization refers people to specialist mental health care.

How it works

Clients can register through the central contact point or with a psychologist of their choice. A referral from a GP is required to be placed on the waiting list.

• After registration, the referral is assessed and discussed to determine which practitioner may be suitable
• The waiting time starts after receipt of the referral letter and contact with PAS
• Waiting time: 20 weeks, update 19 October 2026
