About Emotietherapeut

Emotietherapeut offers a Targeted Recovery Intervention in Almelo for emotional and physical reactions that keep returning. The intervention is based on a further developed application of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).

Targeted Recovery Intervention

The treatment focuses on a specific event or situation that still triggers negative emotions and an unpleasant physical sensation. Clients track how the intensity of that reaction changes.

• Processing trauma
• Anxiety and phobias
• Stress and burnout
• Physical complaints

Approach

The treatment combines tapping on acupuncture points with attention to the physical sensation, phrases tailored to the client, and a breathing exercise. After rounds of treatment, they check whether the emotion and physical reaction still arise.

• Tapping a fixed sequence of acupuncture points
• Attention to the physical sensation
• Carefully chosen phrases tailored to the person’s own experience
• A targeted breathing exercise

For employers and referrers

The intervention can be used as additional support when someone still experiences a strong emotional or physical reaction to a specific event or situation. What is discussed during treatment remains confidential.
