Support

Support is tailored to the client’s needs, goals, wishes and circumstances. It takes into account eating patterns, eating behaviour, exercise, stress, sleep, medical history and medication use.

Approach

During the initial appointment, the client’s needs are discussed and a measurement is taken with a BIA meter. The practice uses the results to draw up a suitable plan and treatment plan together with the client.

Practical information

You do not need a referral to make an appointment. The practice provides dietary advice covered by the basic health insurance; children under 18 do not pay the deductible.

• Integrated care (ketenzorg) may be available for Diabetes, COPD and CVRM (cardiovascular risk management); this requires a referral from the GP
• Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance are not reimbursed by the health insurer
