Ynkear is a yoga practice in Gerkesklooster. The practice offers hatha yoga, restorative yoga, chair yoga and guidance with personal growth and development.

Yoga classes

The hatha yoga classes are for beginners and advanced students. Students with temporary or permanent limitations are also welcome.

Restorative yoga

Restorative yoga is an adapted, less intensive form of yoga with seven pillars. Classes include, among other things, breathing exercises, mindfulness, sound and visualisations.

Personal growth and offering for teams

Ynkear offers individual guidance to help you feel stronger and more balanced. There is a tailored offering for managers and teams.

Days and retreats

Twice a year, Ynkear organises a Day of Mindfulness and a yoga retreat. No yoga or meditation experience is needed for the Day of Mindfulness.

• Yoga retreat: a weekend from Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon

About Nelly Galama

Nelly Galama completed a four-year yoga training and guides meditation gatherings in the tradition of Thich Nhat Han. Her practice combines that tradition with hatha yoga and coaching tools.

Practical information

Classes are held Monday through Thursday. You can enrol by season; individual classes and a ten-class pass are also available.

• For workshops and days of mindfulness, cancellation is free up to 14 days in advance; for retreats, up to 30 days in advance
