About Ontwikkeling in balans

Ontwikkeling in balans is the practice of children’s and parenting coach Ilone van der Valk in Voorschoten. She supports children from age 9, parents and young adults with questions about development, behaviour and connection with one another.

Coaching for children

Programmes are tailored to the child’s age, experience and interests. Children work on suitable solutions using conversation techniques and different activities.

• Finding relaxation and calm
• Setting boundaries and developing self-confidence
• Coping with disappointments and making their own choices

Support for parents and families

As a parenting coach, Ilone supports parents with problems in the family situation. In holistic family therapy, she looks at behaviour, what a child reflects back to the parent and the connection between family members.

Coaching for young adults

As a MatriXprofessional, Ilone supports young adults who want calm and clarity. Using the MatriX method, they determine their own strategy; fears and trauma can also be addressed.
