De Postpartum Fysio is a collaboration of self-employed physiotherapists in Waddinxveen and Reeuwijk. The therapists provide support for complaints during pregnancy and recovery after childbirth, at home or at the practice.

Treatments

After a discussion and physical examination, the therapist discusses the findings and prepares a recovery plan together with the client. The first session also includes treatment, often with tips and exercises for home.

• Manual techniques for the pelvis, tailbone or back
• Massage techniques for muscles and connective tissue
• Scar treatment after a caesarean section
• Dry needling
• Exercise therapy for the abdominal and pelvic floor muscles
• Exercise therapy for neck, back and pelvic complaints
• Advice on feeding and lifting posture

Home visits and practice

Siona or Anne will come to your home on the agreed day and time. Treatment at the practice takes place in Waddinxveen or Reeuwijk.

Practical information

Appointments can be made for home, at the practice or online. If an appointment is cancelled within 24 hours or missed, 75% of the regular rate is charged.

Quality and registers

The therapists are registered with the BIG register (Dutch healthcare register) and the Kwaliteitsregister KRF-NL (Dutch KRF-NL quality register). The practice is a member of the KNGF (Royal Dutch Society for Physical Therapy).
