De ScheidingsManager supports people through divorce and is available throughout the Netherlands, including by video call. The mediator maps out the personal situation and guides the process from agreements through to formal completion.

Agreements and completion

Financial, tax, legal and practical agreements are recorded in a Scheidingsconvenant (divorce settlement agreement) and, when there are children, an Ouderschapsplan (parenting plan). The formal procedure through the court and municipality follows.

Aftercare

After the divorce, De ScheidingsManager provides support with tax matters, questions and changes to the agreements.

Costs and subsidy

In some cases, a contribution from the Raad voor Rechtsbijstand (Dutch Legal Aid Board) may cover part of the costs. Eligibility depends on income and assets.
