Family systems therapy

Family systems therapy, also called family therapy, focuses on patterns between people and the influence they have on each other's behaviour, feelings and thoughts. The whole family is involved. After an introductory meeting, goals are set and the family receives a programme plan.

SCIO has an approved quality statute and lists KIBG, NKD and ISO certification. Care providers receive ongoing professional development and are certified by one or more of the professional organisations listed.

Reimbursements

Youth care in Regio Lekstroom, Rivierenland and West-Brabant-Oost is fully funded by the municipality with a statutory referral. For adults, reimbursement depends on the policy and the contract with the health insurer. Self-funding is also possible; private and business programmes are provided on a quotation basis.
