Approach

Diagnosis includes tongue and pulse diagnosis. For a tongue diagnosis, the practice asks you to avoid coffee, liquorice or other strongly colouring foods beforehand, and not to brush your tongue. If you are pregnant, the practitioner asks you to mention this in advance.

Frequency

The treatment period depends on the severity and duration of the symptoms and overall health. Weekly consultations are recommended at the start; after three to four treatments, the frequency is gradually reduced.

Fees and reimbursement

Depending on the supplementary insurance policy, consultations may be partly or fully reimbursed and, according to the practice, are not subject to the excess. A referral from a GP is not required.
