About Micoja

Micoja is a practice for neuro-sensitive mindfulness in Leidschendam. Jacqueline Appel-Wielens offers individual support and group training in mindfulness, body awareness and automatic responses.

Individual support

The support focuses on stress, overload, recurring patterns and the effects of earlier difficult experiences. Sessions are tailored to the client’s needs and pace; safety and personal agency are the foundation.

• Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness Therapy
• Body-oriented exercise, if appropriate, for example drawing on reflex integration

Group training

The Neuro-Sensitive Mindfulness training lasts eight weeks and takes place in a small group. Participants practise mindfulness and body awareness and gain insight into automatic responses and the nervous system.

• Maximum 6 participants
• Starting again in spring 2027 in Leidschendam

Introduction

A no-obligation introductory meeting lasts about 30 minutes and can take place in Leidschendam or online. Jacqueline discusses what someone is struggling with and explains how she works.

About Jacqueline

Jacqueline Appel-Wielens is a neuro-sensitive mindfulness coach and trainer and founded Micoja. She has worked with people, behaviour and development for over 30 years.

Practical information

Individual support takes place at Micoja in Leidschendam. Cancelling or rescheduling is free up to 24 hours in advance; after that, the session will be charged.
