Sparkling Future offers therapy for children and young people, family support, and support with loss and grief in Hulsberg. Children, young people, parents and adults can receive support there.

Children and young people

Support is tailored to the age and perspective of the child or young person. The work uses play, creativity, conversations and experiential activities.

• Play therapy for children aged 4 to 12

• Support with anger, anxiety, sadness, insecurity and stress-related complaints
• Support with loss, separation, sleep problems, social contacts and difficult events

Parent and family support

Parents are involved in the process through regular parent meetings. Parents can also receive separate parenting support, without the child being actively involved.

Loss and grief

Children, young people and adults can receive support with grief. There is room for sadness and for finding stability and meaning, at their own pace.

Approach

The process begins with a no-obligation introductory conversation, by phone or at the practice. This is followed by an intake, sessions and parent meetings; the process is concluded by agreement.

Practical information

Support for children, young people and families is funded by the municipality. Grief support for adults costs €80 per session; appointments at another location are possible.

• Sessions are not covered by health insurance
• Appointments at another location incur €0,24 per kilometre
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are charged in full
