About Hondentraining trekkenaanderiem

Trekken aan de Riem is a dog training service in Steenwijkerwold. Bianca Schrotenboer provides training at home, including for walking on a lead and responding to the surroundings.

Training

Training starts with a discussion about what the dog needs. Bianca and the owner then work on challenges during walks and on the bond between owner and dog. After a few weeks, they meet again to discuss how things are going.

• Training at home
• Teaching or refining obedience commands
• Guidance with pulling on the lead and reacting to dogs, people or other stimuli

Approach

Two training sessions are agreed before starting: an initial session of an hour and a half and a follow-up session of one hour. During the discussion, Bianca explains her approach and dog language. If the time is right, her dog Capri can be included.

• Discussion about the dog and personal goals
• Training using Bianca’s own leads
• Follow-up support and a return appointment
