Touched Photography is a photography business run by Petra and Ton in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht. It makes photo reports of births and farewells, including funerals.

Birth photography

Petra photographs births, from dilation through to the first meeting with close family and friends. The packages include, among other things, digital photos, an introductory meeting and a backup photographer.

Approach

The couple values a personal connection, direct communication, collaboration, respect and trust. Petra is a volunteer photographer at Stichting Still (Dutch foundation), which provides photo reports free of charge of stillborn or dying babies and deceased or dying children.

Introductory meeting
