Je lichaam vertelt

About Je lichaam vertelt

Je lichaam vertelt is a practice for shiatsu and body-focused therapy in Hellevoetsluis. Treatments combine shiatsu with Chi Nei Tsang, breathwork and body-focused therapy.

Treatments

Shiatsu is the basis of every treatment. A session can be supplemented with Chi Nei Tsang, breathwork and body-focused therapy.

• Therapeutic shiatsu session
• Chi Nei Tsang (Taoist abdominal/organ massage)
• Breathwork & somatic work
• Systemic work & replenishing

Approach

Each session is tailored to what the client and their body need at that moment. There is an intake and introduction beforehand; there is no set protocol.

• Arriving & checking in
• Getting dressed on the futon (mat)
• Touch and exploring together
• Taking time to notice & wrapping up

Practical information

The practice is located on Tijmstraat in Hellevoetsluis. Many health insurers partially reimburse shiatsu through supplementary insurance.

• People with disabilities and wheelchair users can discuss what is possible in advance.
