Praktijk Kind-wijzer offers child therapy and adolescent therapy in Delft, alongside parent guidance, EMDR, sibling coaching and support at school. The practice is located on the border of Delft and Den Hoorn.

Child therapy

Integrative child therapy is a short-term form of child-centred psychotherapy. Through play and conversation, the child discovers what they need; parents are closely involved in the support.

Integrative adolescent therapy is short-term psychotherapy in which the young person is central. The approach is tailored to the request for help and may include mindfulness, cognitive behavioural therapy and the matrix method.

Requests for help

Support focuses, among other things, on behaviour, emotions, school problems, personal characteristics, physical complaints and tensions between siblings. Young people can seek help with, among other things, stress, insecurity, anxiety, loneliness and questions about their future.

Practical information

Child and adolescent therapy can be accessed directly without a referral from a GP. On average, five to fifteen sessions are sufficient. The practice aims to work without a waiting list.
