Verkeersschool Ruark van Dijken is a driving school in the Utrecht, Gorinchem and Tiel region. The school provides car, trailer and motorcycle lessons.

Driving courses

Courses are available for cars, cars with trailers and motorcycles. Car lessons are available in a manual or automatic car; motorcycle training covers A1, A2 and A licences.

Packages and lessons

Packages with lesson hours and exams are available for cars and motorcycles. The trailer course includes six clock hours of lessons. Lessons are tailored to the learner; an intake can be scheduled beforehand.

• Licence B: 30 clock hours of lessons and one practical exam
• Licence B Deluxe: 10 additional clock hours
• Intensive course: 35 clock hours
• Licence E behind B: 6 clock hours
• Trailer retake: 3 clock hours
• Refresher course for a caravan, horse trailer or other trailer: 2 clock hours
• Try The Bike: 2-clock-hour trial lesson
• Licence A: 20 clock hours

About the instructors

Ruark van Dijken has been a driving instructor since 2012. Ruark and Karin teach car driving; Ruark also teaches trailer and motorcycle driving. Ruark has completed training to support candidates with ADHD, ADD and autism.

Service area

The school operates in the Utrecht, Gorinchem and Tiel region. The E behind B course is also available in Tiel, Schelluinen, Utrecht and Den Bosch; other locations may be possible by arrangement.
