About Mondium, GGZ-instelling

Mondium is a mental healthcare (GGZ, Dutch mental healthcare) treatment centre for Basic and Specialist GGZ in Beesd and Beesd. It offers psychological and psychiatric assessment, treatment and advice for young people and adults.

Care and target groups

Mondium provides care for children, young people, adults and older people. For young people, it has contracts with municipalities in Rivierenland, Lekstroom and Bommelerwaard; adult clients also come from outside these regions.

Approach

After an intake interview, a treatment plan is drawn up with goals, frequency, duration and mutual expectations. Diagnostic assessment may consist of interviews, observation, tests, questionnaires and information from third parties, with permission.

Locations and accessibility

The practice has locations in Beesd and Leerdam. It is open daily from 8.30 to 17.30; phone availability is at specified times on working days.

Referral and reimbursement

A referral is required for reimbursement of adult care through the health insurer or youth care through the municipality. In 2025, Mondium had contracts for adult care with all health insurers except ENO.

Practical information

Mondium has paused admissions for adult care; this pause does not apply to applications for people under 18. If a client does not attend an appointment, they receive an invoice.
