Doula Joanna is a birth doula in Asperen. She supports pregnant people and their partners during pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.

Doula support

Support includes prenatal visits, being present during the birth and aftercare. During pregnancy, Joanna discusses the birth vision and helps write a birth plan; after the birth, she supports breastfeeding or bottle-feeding.

• Two prenatal visits
• On call 24/7 from week 38-42
• The birth itself
• One postnatal
• Ongoing support by email and phone

Approach

Joanna does not give medical advice, but supports people in making individual decisions about the birth. The birth can take place at home or in hospital.
