Approach

At the first consultation, the situation and diet are discussed, and a treatment plan is drawn up together. The dietitian recommends small changes that fit the client’s daily life, preferences and needs.

Practical information

Appointments can take place during the day and, at some locations, in the evening as well. According to the practice, a home visit requires a referral letter stating that a home visit is necessary.

Reimbursement and cancellations

Diet treatment is covered by the basic health insurance up to three hours of treatment time. Additional insurance may provide extra reimbursement; under coordinated care, four hours of treatment time may be covered. An appointment must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged for the reserved time.
