Traumapsycholoog is the practice of psychologist Suzan Möller in Amsterdam. The practice offers body-oriented trauma treatment and works to reduce complaints and break patterns.

Trauma treatment

The trauma treatment integrates several approaches from psychotherapy. EMDR and sensori-motor psychotherapy are used to identify triggers, process painful experiences and develop new behaviour.

Complaints and goals

The support addresses anxiety, panic, stress, low mood, sleep problems and physical pain, among other issues. The work aims to give clients more control over their emotions and lives, build self-confidence and develop meaningful relationships.

Approach

The initial consultation lasts an hour and a half; follow-up sessions usually last an hour and fifteen minutes, as agreed. Treatment is tailored to the problems experienced and the person’s way of learning and practising; homework and online contact may be included.
